A Friendly Community Competition

Local churches are invited to compete in the Church Chili Challenge during Taste of Buford.

This fun community event gives churches the opportunity to:

Raise awareness about their church
Connect with local families
Support outreach and missions
Compete for community bragging rights

Runner Up

$100

Prize funds are intended to support church outreach, missions, benevolence, youth programs, or charitable efforts.

How The Challenge Works

Each church may enter up to two chili recipes
Chili must be served in sample sizes of 2 ounces or less
Every chili taste requires two official Taste of Buford tickets
Each ticket collected counts as a vote toward your final total
Event tickets may be used for chili tasting and food tastings throughout the event

Available at the door during the event.

Participation is free, but space is limited.

Participation Agreement

By submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree that:

Participation is subject to approval by the event organizer and facility

Event details and participation terms are subject to change without notice

Chili servings must be sample sizes of 2 ounces or less

Each sample requires two official event tickets which count toward voting totals

Tickets have no cash value

All displays, signage, materials, and conduct must be family-friendly and appropriate for all ages

Balloons, political messaging, and unapproved signage or decorations are not permitted

Participating churches are responsible for safe food handling, setup, serving, and cleanup of their assigned area

Photos and videos from the event may be used for promotional purposes

Additional Equipment*

I understand participating churches will be supplied with one table. All additional setup items, displays, serving materials, and equipment must be provided by the participating church.

Equipment Approval*

Crock pots are permitted. Any other forms of heating or food warming equipment must be approved in advance by event organizers.
