Player of the Week: Ella Rainwater – Girls Varsity
Congratulations to Ella Rainwater, our Lady Wolves Player of the Week! Ella has set a high standard for what it means to be a Lady Wolf through her hard work, leadership, and positivity. Coach Gene Durden shares why Ella stands out on and off the court:
Practice Performance
Ella’s dedication in practice is unmatched. She’s been coachable, hardworking, and a supportive teammate, always leading by example. Her positive attitude and willingness to help others make her a true leader.
Game Performance
In our recent varsity scrimmage and JV game, Ella was everywhere we needed her to be—hustling, diving for loose balls, sprinting across the court, and doing all the small things that make a difference. She stood out as one of our leading rebounders and had a fantastic all-around game, making a huge impact from the start of the season.
Off the Court
Ella shines off the court as well. She’s a role model in the classroom with her excellent grades and friendly personality, making her a joy to be around. Ella is a winner both on and off the court, embodying the spirit of the Lady Wolves program.
